Roasted Parmesan Green Beans
Out of my three children my daughter is my least picky eater. She will eat just about anything you put in front of her especially if it’s on her Momma’s plate! 🙂 What is it about a Mom’s or parents dinner plate that makes the food that much more appealing? One of my daughters favorite food is green beans…which is a funny favorite for a 3 year old. This recipe for roasted parmesan green beans is a delicious recipe that is great as a side dish for any meal. It pairs well with meat centered meals and also pasta, which we have weekly.
You only need a few pantry staples to put together this recipe. I find that green beans with a tab of butter gets a little boring and the crunch the panko bread crumbs and parmesan cheese adds to this dish is delicious! They are tossed in a delicious seasoning and then roasted until perfection.
I like to use Panko Bread crumbs as I find they do better at crisping up than the traditional bread crumbs. We typically use plain bread crumbs but you could also use the already seasoned bread crumbs for another pop of flavor.
